Coco de Mar

I enjoyed my stay very much. The location was very close to 5th Ave, about a 30 second walk. Edit: my prior review was for a different hotel that I mixed up with Coco de Mar. Corrected review below. The hotel is very relaxed and low key. It’s not a glam resort, but it’s a cozy comfortable place to stay. The service is great, but very chill. If you don’t ask, they won’t bother you. If you do ask, they’ll cheerfully help. The rooms all start on the second floor, and there’s no elevator. If stairs are a challenge, that’s something to consider. My room was basic and comfortable. Decent bed, nice pillows, a smallish tv, night stands, and a rack wardrobe thing. No hangars though, which was a bit eh. I didn’t ask for any, but I’m sure they would have given me some if I had. I did not have a chair, which I would have liked to have. Nice bathroom, good water pressure, nice towels. The windows open to the hallway and are frosted white, and impossible to see through, though they let light in. They also had a water dispenser on the 2d floor, which is really nice. I could refill my water bottle and didn’t need to buy water constantly. The noise wasn’t too bad. Every so often I could hear street noise, but it wasn’t super loud. The noise of people walking by the room is more pronounced. Luckily it wasn’t very busy. I liked this hotel and would stay there again. Keep in mind it’s not perfect, but it is comfortable and clean, well located, reasonably priced, and safe.

Great value for right off the main strip! Stayed on a Monday night and self check-in/out was very easy- just make sure to text when you’re approaching to save a little time. Room was clean, shower pressure was light and our window didn’t lock properly in room 12 but we had a bar on the window to secure it. Bed was firm but not bad. AC was VERY good, and ceiling fan was working great. Some channels, Netflix and YouTube on the smart TV. We left some sandals in the room and we were able to get ahold of someone immediately to arrange recover them the next day! Very nice and friendly!

Older hotel, bed was very comfortable, free breakfast from restaurant down the street., wifi is okay, I was able to use it for work with little lags. When I was there, no one speaks English, but Google translate helped with vocabularies I didn't understood. I was there for 2 nights, My room didn't get clean or new towels, I asked and they told me every 2 days. Location is good, tight next to 5th ave but not much noise from the room I was in.
